Monday, August 15, 2011 -- Interior Partioning Begins!

My wife and I are celebrating our 11th wedding anniversary with dinner out tonight.  (The anniversary date was last week.)  And, the guys gave us a great gift by really giving us a good idea of what the rooms will look like.  Despite the heavy rain, Eric B., Eric D, Derrick and Anthony managed to get a lot of interior work done.  Also, Eric B. stopped in to discuss some kitchen design ideas to consider ways to move a support column.  Eddie Danielson stopped by the work site and discussed with Eric D. to really suggest that we NEED that support column.  We have some design changes to consider based upon all this.  It was great teamwork!  All the discussions were to provide us (the home owners) the best product possible.  We really appreciate it.

Also, thanks to Eric D., who spent some time with me to discuss some suggestions (the little things that make the end product that much better).

Stuff on the to-do list this week include roofing and windows (plus other stuff).

Here are some pics!

A horrible day.  Lots of rain.  Derrick took the umbrella to Eric B's truck to escort Eric and keep him dry from the rain.  What service Eric gets!

Eric DeSilva discussing with Eddie Danielson (architect) about design considerations for the family room and master bedroom.  Thank you Eddie for coming to the work site to field questions.

 The walk-in closet!

The laundry room.  Remind me to ask the guys what we need to do to waterproof and soundproof as much as possible with the rotating laundry machines.

The master bathroom:  New place for the jacuzzi and the vanity.  Jacuzzi on the right and the vanity on the left...

Thanks again to the guys for their work, and most of all, to their consideration of changes to make the end product as great as possible.
