August 5, 2011 -- Update -- More Progress!

Sorry for not updating yesterday -- work kinda took my 100% of my attention.  Anyway, this does not mean that Eric Busa and his crew not push the project forward.  In fact, they made great progress.  They continued to put up the rafters and the rooflines are definitely taking shape.  They framed out the back bedroom, laundry room and a walk-in closet. Busa and his team also framed out the front dormer for the new master bathroom.

An interesting thing caught my attention while speaking with Eric.  I was mentioning that the rooflines seemed really complex, and he replied that I was right.  At least for me, the rooflines created by the architect for the addition really was complex.  He further replied that the complexity made this part of the project fun and interesting.  It struck me that I was working with someone who really took this project with interest.  This makes me feel comfortable that he's not one to "cut corners" and of course had the expertise to handle this project.

Here are some pics.

And, thanks Anthony, for the genuine well wishes this week for my work matter this week.

I think they may be coming back this Saturday for more stuff.

There was a hole in the ground on July 11th.  We haven't hit a month yet, and I think we've made great progress.  Thanks to Eric Busa, Eric DeSilva, Derek and Anthony, and the subcontractors that Eric has hired thus far...

I was also notified that the site inspection from Dedham Bank will mean that I get my first disbursement.  They were happy with the work done so far.
