Thursday, November 3, 2011 -- Cabinet Install Begins, More Landscaping and Doors/Trim Received

Today, Eric Busa and David began the cabinet install.  June from Hanssem arrived to do some customer service as well.  We ran into a little glitch with the cabinet order.  Apparently, the window for the kitchen and the measurements for the all of the cabinets are off 6 or so inches because of some last minute detail add ins.  Instead of not lining up the base sink cabinet perfectly with the window, we are going to do away with the detail pieces (which accounts for that 6 inches.)   I think my wife is going to do some yelling to June and Hanssem about that one...

Anyway, below are some pics of the install.  The cabinets being installed now are the Medallion cabinets in Divinity White.  We also have some Medallion cabinets in Brandywine Cherry that is going to be used for the pantry and the island.  These have not been installed yet.

In additon, more handscaping.  The front steps are mostly in -- to be finished tomorrow.  And we received the screen loam for the hydroseeding.  We've been extremely lucky with the weather after the freak Noreaster of a snow storm before Halloween!  There are some residents in MA and CT still without power from that one!

Anyway, here are some pics below:

Walk from the driveway to the porch was cut for the curve of the driveway.  Nice work!
