First of all, we had our first room painted in the house -- the laundry room. The paints are all Benjamin Moore. The laundry is painted in Abingdon Putty. This color is also going to be used in the hallway as well. Al and his team also sanded, caulked and prepped the walls for primer in the first floor. It's tedious work, but it will really make the difference after the paint drys.
Also, Ieraci put in a landscape island by the driveway and road. It really does well to define the addition as part of the house. I think the house looks like it was there from the beginning. Eric designed it, and I think it looks great. The island works well with the curved front walk and the tree.
Further, we have gutters mostly installed! Nice white gutters to match. Looks great!
Also, Eric DaSilva and Derrick continued with the interior trim.
Finally, June from Hanssem came tonight to speak to my wife about cabinet issues. I have to say that its been great to have a cabinet rep who stays with the project even after the order has been placed and the product has been delivered. Despite the many issues, he's been available and hasn't ducked the calls. He promises to do what is right. I will let you know if he delivers. He says he'll "surprise us." We will keep you posted.
