Massachusetts Military Heros Fund

We were doing some back to school shopping at the Natick Mall and we ran across this exhibit (see below pics).  Great timing because Eric asked me to put some information regarding the Massachusetts Military Heros Fund (MMHF) on the blog.

The MMHF is a non-profit (501(c)(3)) organization that is dedicated to providing support to the families of military service personnel from MA fallen in service to the U.S.

Eric is doing his part to help out the MMHF as he is asking all of his subs on the Fairway Drive project to contribute to the MMHF.  Please considering contributing as well.  Please contact the MMHF if you are interested in volunteering or donating to this important cause.  See www.massmilitaryheros.org website to get more information.  Their telephone number is 888-909-HERO(4376).

As seen in the exhibit below, the MMHF is putting together a care package service project to support active duty service members and a pledge drive to support local Gold Star (bereaved) military families.  On Sept 11, 2011, the MMHF is holding this event at the Mother's Walk on the Rose Kennedy Greenway in Boston -- Activities include putting together military care packages for 500 service men and women serving overseas, writing letters of support for our troops, and a pledge drive for the families supported by the MMHF.
